WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR PHONES STOP RINGING?

Companies understand the impact network, e-mail and website outages have on business. That’s why they have business continuity and disaster recovery plans in place. However,  voice services recovery plans are often not included. Telecom equipment can go down. Fires, accidents, bomb threats, demonstrations or acts of nature might prevent staff from getting to the call centre. Losing calls, even temporarily, can result in lost sales or unhappy customers (or both).

The presentation will focus on the importance of voice communications, why most companies neglect voice communication recovery plans, types of disasters that can take down voice systems and how to create and implement voice system disaster recovery plans.
